The short version: HappyHan does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. Camera images are processed on your device and never leave it.

Data collection

HappyHan does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. The app works entirely on your device and does not require an account or an internet connection.

Camera

HappyHan can use your device's camera to read the mahjong tiles on the table and enter them for scoring. Tile recognition runs entirely on your device. Camera images are used only for that recognition, are never uploaded or shared, and are discarded when recognition completes. You can use the app without granting camera access by entering tiles by hand.

Data stored on your device

Your preferences and in-app choices are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. HappyHan never sees your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Children

HappyHan does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
